PROJECT CATEGORY:
Complete Renovation of an apartment situated on the last floor, with exclusive access to the rooftop terrace, of an interwar building from the 1930ies. Given the age of the building, the entire interior had to be torn down, facilitating all necessary structural reinforcements on slabs, beams and columns, with the use of metal plates and carbon fiber.
All the spaces of the apartment were rearranged, creating an apartment with 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets, optimizing available space despite the irregular shape of the layout.
The first level accommodates the living and dining areas, as well as the master bedroom, all three with a view on St. Dionysius’ trellis. At the same level, a second bedroom and the kitchen are situated on the opposite side, facing the building block interior. The entrance, the wardrobe, the guest bathroom and the staircase leading to the upper lever are on the same floor.
The upper level accommodates a rooftop bedroom and the outdoor terrace which is equiped with outdoor seating, bar, bbq and jacuzzi with an incredible view of the church and the Acropolis.
